The stained glass windows in the nave were made by F.X. Santuario Di Nostra Signora Di Misericordia, Savona Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvire, Lyon, France, Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde, Marseille, France, Royal Basilica of Our Lady of Atocha, Madrid, Spain. On 5 May 1866, the image was granted a decree of Canonical Coronation by the Dean of the Vatican Chapter in a solemn and official recognition of the Marian icon under that title.
