Complete robberyMore, We were made welcome by the wonderful staff. We were spending a reasonable amount with you today as we ordered multiple drinks and a meal each. The customer service was good, polite attentive and not obtrusive, not first class but more than acceptable. He obviously has as much of a right as us to be there and Im not suggesting he should have been asked to move instead but why sit him at such a big table when that could have been free for your larger booking? Coffee is also immense. The menu is made from fresh local produce and changes regularly. Overall a pleasant visit, let down by only a couple of minor points. Today I visited with 3 colleagues. There is some parking nearby but be careful as some require tokens. Gutted!Had small breakfast instead, which was really nice - especially the square sausage. Won't be back.
I have to say the service was amazing and all of the staff were so friendly and extremely helpful. We ordered sundries tomatoe and chilli pasta, it was so dry we couldnt eat it, the salt and chilli chips were dripping in oil. She said if we had asked for a jug of hot water we wouldnt have been charged but because it was a cup we were charged!! Got impression waitress may have been new? 5 of us ordered and have to say food was delicious . Then had to pay at the bar. Loved it and thank you. After food we caught attention of a waitress to order coffee - she replied 2 minutes and proceeded to clear tables (where no one was waiting for food) and then went behind the counter and still didnt come back to take our coffee order - so we just asked another server for the bill. The correct solution is surely to provide an alternative time for the last minute booking. Worked out 5 for 1 coffee. It was reasonably busy however getting a table was not an issue. I had a the Cajun chicken mayo ciabatta and the flavour was great.
